Labor Day TournamentThe Headland Country Club will be hosting it's annual Labor Day members only tournament on Monday, September 6, 2010. This will be a 27 hole medal play tournament with 9 holes in the morning to determine flighting and 18 holes in the afternnon. Play will start at 9:30 am so please be at the course and ready to play by 9:30am. Sign up in the Pro Shop. Entry Fee is $30.00.
2010 3 Man Scramble RecapThe Headland Country Club held it's annual 3 Man Scramble on August 21st & 22nd. We had a terrific turnout with a full field even with the hot weather! Due to rain and lightning, the afternoon matches were called after 9 holes. The HCC Tournament Committee, Board of Directors and Membership wish to thank everyone that participated in this tournament. |
Ken and Elaine Bond Appreciation DinnerKen and Elaine Bond were presented Certificates of Appreciation at a dinner in their honor by the HCC Board of Directors for the years of service they provided to the Headland Country Club. We are a better club because of the efforts that they made over difficult years and we will miss seeing them every day. Also pictured are the new club managers, Brenda and K.V. Douglas.
  2010 ACA Tournament RecapThe Money Team, Charles, Mills and Will, won the 2010 Abbeville Christian Academy Tournament held on Saturday, July 24th at the Headland Country Club. There were 15 teams that participated with proceeds going to Abbeville Christian Academy.

2010 HCC FirecrackerCraig Snellgrove won the 2010 HCC Firecracker conducted on July 5 at the Headland Country Club. We had a terrific turnout for the tournament, a great lunch with members and families, and the weather was good with no rain! 2010 HCC InvitationalThe 24th Headland Country Club Invitational was a great success. A full field of seventy-two players participated in the tournament. Jason Jones was the champion for 2010 with a two-day total of 140, four under par. Read on for photo's and results! |
